Senator Rob Mayer (R-Dexter) endorsed Missouri House Budget Chairman Allen Icet for Missouri Auditor Thursday citing Allen Icet’s extensive budget experience and fiscal conservative prowess.

“It is my pleasure to endorse State Representative Allen Icet for the position of Missouri State Auditor,” Senator Mayer declared. “His experience in working on the state budget for the past several years has given him the insight necessary to deal with compliance issues regarding how public money should be spent and accounted for.”

Sen. Mayer went on to praise Icet’s work on behalf of Missouri taxpayers. “He and I work closely since I serve as Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Allen has made several trips to our Senate district and is well aware of the needs of our region,” Mayer said.

Allen Icet has consistently campaigned on his conservative credentials, of which, Senator Mayer gave credit to. “Allen is a staunch conservative and can be trusted to do his job in a way that we can all be proud of. It is without reservation that I endorse Allen Icet for Missouri State Auditor.”

Senator Mayer joins the laundry list of Republican endorsements Allen Icet has received for his bid to be Missouri’s next State Auditor. This list includes, Senator Jason Crowell of Cape Girardeau, Senator Delbert Scott of Lowry and four other State Senators.

Not only has Allen Icet earned conservative endorsement’s in the State Senate, he has garnered 82 Republican endorsements in the State House of Representatives. Such endorsements as Rep. Gayle Kingery, Rep. Ellen Brandom, Rep. Clint Tracy, Rep. Billy Pat Wright, Rep. Shelly Keeney, Rep. Mike Dethrow, and numerous others all across Missouri.
