Senator Delbert Scott set the record straight Monday regarding his endorsement for Missouri Auditor. Last week’s press release by the Schweich campaign included Sen. Scott as endorsing his campaign. “That listing was unauthorized by me” said Sen. Scott. “I continue my strong support for Allen Icet for state Auditor.”
Sen. Scott, a 25 year veteran of the Missouri General Assembly and a strong conservative, praised Icet’s work on the Missouri budget. “I have watched his conservative philosophy in action as he has successfully led the House budget committee in enacting balanced budgets,” Scott said. “Missourians would be well-served for Allen Icet to continue in the role of budget-hawk as state Auditor.”
